Digital Documentation
Digital documentation can improve patient care and make many practitioners’ daily routine easier. That’s why the dermatoscope, plus smartphone and corresponding software solutions, can be used to create and manage digital dermatological images. For example, the HEINE DERManager software solution can be used to easily document and compare dermatoscopic images and patient data. We show how to create a new patient, create overview, single or series images, and assign them on the Bodymap one step at a time, and explain the comparison tools too.
In addition to modern dermatoscopes, which are used to detect skin cancer at an early stage, software solutions for digitally documenting and managing dermatoscopy images are also being increasingly utilised in practice.
