How can I migrate data from another system?
Please contact the HEINE support team to check compatibility of patient data from your previous system. The following systems are currently supported:
- FotoFinder
- Biocam
- Dermogenius
- Visiomed
- DS Medica VideoCap
The migration of the data is subject to a service fee. Please contact the HEINE support team for your individual offer.

Is the DERManager app compatible with Android and Apple devices?
What are the DERManager-related terms and what do they mean?
DERManager Web
DERManager Web is the software you use to manage your patients on your computer / tablet. To name but a few examples, you can:
- Create / retrieve patients
- Share / change / delete patient data
- Enlarge / compare / evaluate / delete dermatological images
- etc.
This is where you log in.
DERManager app
The DERManager app refers to the iPhone app that you use to work on your iPhone. To name but a few examples, you can:
- Create / retrieve patients
- Capture dermatological images
- Place dermatological images on the Bodymap
- etc.
Knowledge Base
The Knowledge Base is a name of the website you are using at present. This is where you will find the answers to all the questions you have about DERManager (how tos), and helpful videos too.
DERManager webshop
The DERManager webshop is the website where you can choose and subscribe to a DERManager package.
You will find the webshop here.
DERManager ID
The DERManager ID is part of your login credentials, which you received in the registration email at the beginning. It consists of 5 letters and/or numbers. You can log into DERManager Web using the DERManager ID, your username and your password.
This is where you log in.

How will my data be stored?
All data processing is subject to the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All the data is stored in a secure data centre in Germany.
Can I get a backup of my data?
You have the option to request a copy of your data for a service fee, please contact the HEINE support team.
